1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PriceLens ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PriceLens is a SaaS pricing intelligence tool that monitors competitor pricing pages, uses AI to analyze changes, and delivers weekly digest emails. The Service includes web application, API access, and email notifications.

3. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use

You are responsible for all activities under your account.

4. Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. We will notify you before the trial ends.

5. Subscription and Billing

Plans

  • Starter — $99/month, up to 5 competitors, daily monitoring
  • Growth — $199/month, up to 15 competitors, hourly monitoring
  • Scale — $399/month, up to 50 competitors, custom monitoring

Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Annual plans are available at 20% discount. All payments are processed through Stripe.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Use the Service to send spam or malicious content
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Monitor websites in violation of their terms of service or robots.txt
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without authorization

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by PriceLens and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.

You retain ownership of the data you input into the Service. You grant us a limited license to use, process, and store your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

8. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses AI to analyze pricing changes and generate recommendations. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated analysis. You should independently verify any information before making business decisions.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRICELENS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PREVIOUS 12 MONTHS.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PriceLens and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that could harm the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PriceLens is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
